Journey: Funky.House.Trance with Mark PullarMark Pullar’s journey into electronic music began aged 15 in 1997, cutting his teeth on Numark CD decks at house parties in Hull and warm-up sets before nights out. A rapid move to vinyl saw his Technics 1210s drop their first record - Synaesthesia by Thrillseekers - igniting a lifelong love affair with trance. Fuelled by the Gatecrasher Red and Wet compilations, his sound and passion quickly deepened.
At the heart of Mark’s DJing is storytelling. Rather than chasing constant peak-time drops, he crafts emotionally charged journeys - sets that build, breathe and resonate, inspired by the unforgettable performances he’s experienced over 25+ years on dancefloors. While trance remains his foundation, Mark has recently expanded into melodic house, drawing heavily from the Anjunadeep sound, along with a sprinkling of funky house. His club night and show, Journey –Funky.House.Trance, takes bright, funky house grooves to melodic house heights and euphoric trance.
