Distant Dreams (Part Three) with Kat RichmondKat Richmond plays a combination of psychedelic minimal house and techno. She has developed her style of music for nearly 15 years playing out in clubs and festivals across London, the UK and in Europe.
Kat has been the resident DJ for Buntu, Samantha Blackburn's party in London for nearly ten years. The music policy focuses on deep, elegant groove-driven house and techno, and guests have included MoBlack, Nandu and Just Her to name a few. In 2019 she was invited to play with Samantha at the Afrocentric Records closing party at ADE. Recent parties have been hosted at The Castle in east London, the infamous Goose, and currently based at Arch535 in Brixton. Kat moved back to her home city of Hull in East Yorkshire in 2021, and since her return has played for Ctrl Alt Del, Renegade Rave and Leg~It parties. Her Distant Dreams (Part Three) show started out three years ago on Leeds-based station Narr Radio. It showcases newly released music from artists from all over the world.
